1. Sales and Business Development
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and target new clients, projects, and industries where electrical products and services are needed (e.g., construction, industrial, commercial, infrastructure, energy sectors).
- Lead Generation: Actively generate leads by networking, attending industry events, cold calling, and referrals from existing clients.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets, generating revenue through the promotion and sale of electrical products or systems (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, electrical panels, wiring, automation equipment, etc.).
- Prospect and Qualify Clients: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and qualify them as leads based on their technical requirements and purchasing potential.
2. Technical Consultation and Product Knowledge
- Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of electrical products, including technical specifications, functionalities, applications, and industry standards. Products might include transformers, power distribution units, circuit protection devices, electrical wiring systems, and automation solutions.
- Provide Technical Solutions: Advise clients on the most suitable electrical solutions for their projects, including load calculations, electrical schematics, and system configurations. Offer expert recommendations based on client needs and industry practices.
- On-Site Consultation: Visit client sites (construction sites, factories, commercial buildings, etc.) to assess their electrical needs, recommend appropriate products, and perform technical evaluations.
- Product Demonstrations: Perform demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and advantages of electrical products. This may involve live demonstrations of equipment or explaining technical aspects in layman's terms for non-technical clients.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Provide technical support to clients facing issues with their current electrical systems, such as recommending suitable replacements or upgrades.
3. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with internal engineers and technical staff to ensure that customer needs are met with the right technical solutions and products.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, participate in campaigns, and provide market feedback on customer preferences.
- Coordination with Production: Coordinate with production or supply chain teams to ensure the availability and timely delivery of electrical products.
4. Travel and Fieldwork
- Field Visits: Regularly travel to client sites, including construction sites, factories, or corporate offices, to assess electrical needs, conduct site surveys, and provide technical solutions.
- Site Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys to understand the electrical infrastructure and provide accurate assessments or solutions. This often involves evaluating the client’s current systems and recommending upgrades or new installations.
