Key Responsibilities

• Gather in-depth understanding of cedents through direct communication with cedants/brokers and by analysing the underlying portfolios and submission/reinsurance proposals.

• Analyse, assess and/or draft treaty wordings.

Job Purpose / Role:

Build strong relationships and proactive engagement with Clients, Brokers, and Underwriters. Be the focal contact point for all services relating to Multinational Program. Perform front-to-end activities for Multinational accounts prospect, submission, renewal to expiration. Attend client/broker meetings and support Allianz Commercial business development activities, including presenting and demonstrating our global capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for multinational insurance programs & policies of medium to high complexity (i.e., complex reinsurance panels). Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts / claims experience – and if required, escalation to UW in case of missing information.
• In case of AZ multinational programs, provide recommendations to UW on program structure (i.e., Deal support), steering of implementation globally, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciliation of all issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with UW. Ensure all local policies are issued in a timely fashion and client expectations are met.
• Ability to handle new business multinational submissions independently and ensure smooth a smooth program implementation for our brokers and clients.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts, Clients, and Brokers and attend relevant internal and external meetings. Regular and extensive exchange with clients regarding all account specific matters
• Acting as mentor / trainer for new joiners.
• Using all relevant information to populate IT system(s) accurately and efficiently with new and renewed business. Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives, and re-insurers. Compiling of standard and non-standard policy wordings. Regular reconciliation and discussion of content with UW and broker/customer.
• Chase and reconcile premiums exploiting underwriting file and system entries in close collaboration with Credit Control. Liaise with brokers and/or Underwriters, to ensure timely premium payment. Coordinates premium chasing and reconciliation activities. Work directly with brokers on a daily basis and ensure a high level of multinational client services is provided.
• Contribute to projects and as ad-hoc request as required.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills:

• Experience in working in an international environment.
• 3 to 5 years prior working in insurance, reinsurance or broking industry.

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience of relevant business applications and systems.
• Ability to continuously develop technical and systems knowledge, business, and insurance understanding.
• Good understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages.
• Advanced understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation.

General Skills

• Communication Skills – verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Task Planning – time management skills and experience of scheduling tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities.
• Ability to motivate others; effective team player, training and coaching of staff.

Education / Certification

Job Purpose

Sustainability aspects increasingly drive the agenda in business, society, and across AllianzGroup. This requires a strategic approach to ensure we fully integrate sustainability into Allianz’sactivities as a financial institution and as an organization. We want to be a shaper of sustainabilityacross Asia. The Allianz Asia Pacific regional office has formalized its sustainability governance inthe past years to take advantage of sustainability and climate-related opportunities whilemanaging sustainability-related risks and to implement Allianz Group's sustainability strategy.

As we enter the next phase of sustainability integration, we are looking for an experiencedprofessional in the insurance business, who can support the drive to develop and deliver growthin sustainable products and services (in Property & Casualty retail and commercial initially, thenin Life/Health).

Based on this, Allianz Asia Pacific is looking for a Regional Sustainability Lead, in Asia Pacific todrive Sustainability in business and own operations, together with the (Senior) Management inour 8 countries and the Functional Heads in the regional office. This role will report to the AZAPMember of the Board responsible for Sustainability.

What you do

1. Strategy execution and sustainability governance

• Develop, execute, and steer the AZAP sustainability strategy in line with the GlobalSustainability Strategy and the AZAP Business Strategy
• Lead the regional sustainability community to foster strong collaboration andengagement between the sustainability functions in the local entities
• Oversee the application and implementation of formalized sustainability governance,rules, and processes across the region and local entities
• Act as a strategic advisor on sustainability matters for the AZAP Board of Managementand local OE senior leadership- Drive the development of sustainability-related contentfor the strategic and planning dialogues of the AZAP region, including monitoring, andsteering of the sustainability/environmental performance
• Act as the key liaison with relevant group-level functions at Allianz SE (GlobalSustainability, Sustainable Operations, Group Regulatory and Public Affairs, GroupAccounting and Reporting, Group Risk, etc.) on sustainability matters
• Plan and oversee the budget for sustainability-related activities at AZAP

2. Driving sustainability integration in the region

• Ensure close collaboration with/between OEs to identify growth opportunities fromsustainability and climate-trends with a strong priority on the development ofsustainable product offerings aligned to Allianz's internal sustainable productframeworks and external regulations like the EU Taxonomy
• Oversee sustainability-related target setting and steering (CEO targets) across theregion and drive the relevant projects to ensure target achievement with relevant AZAPfunctions and operating entities
• Expand the communication efforts of Allianz Asia Pacific on sustainability matters inalignment with AZAP Communications to ensure strong positioning of Allianz in theregion.
• Drive the implementation of internal and regulatory sustainability reportingrequirements (including implementation of CSRD in AZAP) in close alignment withAZAP Finance and local finance teams
• Collaborate with AZAP People and Culture on sustainability upskilling programs andactivities
• Coordinate the regional and Singapore-based corporate citizenship activities andpartnership

3. Sustainability impact management and due diligence

• Ownership of the sustainability impact management processes for Allianz Asia Pacificunder the requirements of the Allianz Sustainability Integration Framework and internalprocesses
• Act as the regional escalation point and expert on sustainability risks and impacts ininsurance and non-listed investment transactions (transactional ESG due diligence)
• Train local entity counterparts on the management of sustainability impacts ininsurance and investment transactions.

4. Shaping activities

• Develop content and drive thought leadership to position Allianz as a shaper ofsustainability across Asia
• Facilitate engagement with key regulators and standard setters in the region
• Lead and enable upskilling of OE senior leadership, sustainability leads, and otherrelevant functions to enable shaping activities with regulators and clients
• Represent Allianz Group and AZAP on sustainability matters with external and internalstakeholders

What you bring

• 6-8 years of experience in a relevant business role in P&C, Life and/or Health orsustainability management in the insurance industry
• Strong experience in managing senior stake holders and multiple projects the sametime
• Passion for identifying and driving sustainability-led business opportunities
• Master’s degree in ideally a sustainability-related area of study (environmental science,economics, social science, political science)
• Strong understanding of principles of ESG integration, ESG risk management,sustainable insurance solutions, sustainability reporting and data collection
• On top of current and upcoming developments and market trends regardingsustainability, climate, decarbonization and social impact
• Experience in representing an organization externally in public forums, investormeetings, etc.
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills tointerface and influence all levels of stakeholders (internal/external)
• Ideally in-depth understanding of the sustainability organization within Allianz Groupacross insurance, proprietary investments, and asset management is considered anasset
