About the role: This is an exciting position delivering the Design and Planning T Level and to be part of the regrowth of professional construction at our Guildford College campus.
This new style of qualification will help to fill the skills gaps locally, nationally and worldwide and includes a meaningful work placement in a relevant industry potentially leading to an apprenticeship.
The teaching, training and assessment of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the Group. You will teach and manage one or more courses or groups of students and be responsible for the delivery and development of their curriculum, ensuring that students have an excellent experience throughout all stages of their learner journey.
This is a full time, permanent position starting in September 2024. Potential job share to work around existing professional commitments can be considered.
What do you need to be a successful Design and Planning teacher at Activate Learning? You will have a recognised qualification in either Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering along with the ability to teach and train our ambitious learners enabling them to develop their skills during their T Level programme.
You will be able to demonstrate the right attributes and behavioural skills that are aligned to our award winning philosophy to encourage and enable our learners achieve their full potential, preventing barriers to learning using different techniques to ensure our learners are equipped to succeed.
