Working with Transit Police provides a unique chance to support a diverse community through assignments to mobile patrol and foot patrols of properties, trains, buses, and special events. P05 $68,213 Academy recruit and Field Training phase, non-POST certified
PO4 $73,461 Completion of first full year or CO POST certified at time of hire

Police Officer Trainees:
Candidates who are hired may be sent to a state certified law enforcement academy. Upon successful completion, the trainee will still need to complete a field training program and will not move to PO2 until completion of this training.
This position is eligible for a $4,000 signing bonus. The new-hire signing bonus pays out in two $2,000 installments upon these milestones: * Three months of continued employment. *Six months of continued employment. If the employee resigns employment before their 1 year employment date the employee must return or pay back the bonus.

Pay Range:
