Oversee all financial control activities. Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing with government regulations.
Job Description
- Identify the key business initiatives, key result areas and improve the financial performance of the Group.
- Manage the financial system of the Group to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency in responding to the needs of the business.
- Coordinate the preparation and compile the budgets based on projected operating costs, targeted sources and application of funds.
- Summarize budget trends, analyzing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives.
- Monitor cash flow projection and perform monthly planning for the Group.
- Manage high-level financial relations with institutions, banks and agents.
- Supervise and manage the work of subordinates within the finance function and ensure the efficiency and timeliness of services rendered.
- Review group financial statements, group consolidation and quarterly announcements to ensure they are prepared accurately and in compliance with statutory listing requirements.
- Report financial data and statistics with constructive commentary on growth, financial strengths and weaknesses versus market performance to facilitate decision-making of the Board.
- Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organisation.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance.
- Minimum five (5) years of working experience in Financial Controller role on management level in relevant field.
- Preferably a chartered accountant and/or candidate who possess professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / MICPA etc.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
